What is Order Fulfillment

When you sell a product on Sellcove, you can choose whether the product is delivered automatically or manually. This depends on whether you add any deliverables to the product.

Automatic Delivery (No Action Required)

Your product is fulfilled automatically when you add at least one deliverable:

• Digital files (PDFs, ZIPs, audio, video, etc.)

• Access URLs (course links, private pages, external downloads)

What happens after purchase:

• The customer sees their downloads or links immediately on the Thank You page

• A delivery email is sent automatically

• No manual action is required from you

This is ideal for:

• Digital downloads

• Courses

• Templates

• Files or links you want delivered instantly

Manual Fulfillment (Action Required)

If you do not add any files or URLs, the product requires manual fulfillment.

What this means:

• The customer completes payment successfully

• No downloads or links are shown automatically

• You’ll receive a notification/email that a new order needs fulfillment

• You must manually fulfill the order from your dashboard

Manual fulfillment is useful for:

• Custom services

• Physical goods

• Consulting calls

• 1-on-1 work

• Anything delivered outside of Sellcove

How to Switch Between Them

Sellcove automatically decides the fulfillment type based on your product setup:

• Has files or URLs → Automatic delivery

• No deliverables → Manual fulfillment

You can change this at any time by adding or removing deliverables from the product.
