How to add Google Tag Manager (GTM) to your store

Google Tag Manager allows you to manage analytics and tracking tools without manually adding scripts to your site. To enable it, you only need your GTM Container ID.

Step 1: Open Google Tag Manager

1. Go to https://tagmanager.google.com/
2. Log in with your Google account
3. Select the container you want to use

Step 2: Copy Your GTM Container ID

At the top of the dashboard, you will see an ID that looks like:

GTM-ABC1234

This is your Google Tag Manager ID. You only need the ID — do not copy any code snippets.

Step 3: Add the ID to Your Dashboard

1. Go to your Dashboard
2. Click My Store
3. Open Tracking / Analytics Settings
4. Paste your GTM ID
5. Save your changes

Step 4: Publish Your Container

Back in Google Tag Manager, click Submit and publish your container. Tracking will not work until the container is published.

Tip: Changes may take a few minutes to appear.
